So, here’s an article about geography knowledge (or lack thereof).
It’s a perfect example of a poor writing sample as they appear to be comparing apples to oranges.
First they go into how some Canadians can’t locate certain countries in the world.
Then, they provide you with a quiz of 50 questions. And, strangely enough most of those questions are trivia — not geographical locations.
Hmmmm, I suppose if people who wrote such articles actually quizzed on geographical locales, rather than trivia, everybody would do much better on geographical locale quizzes. . .
