Year of Homeschool — Day 266

Whew!  I managed to pull it off today.  We got the last of our school work done (for that week).

The boys did well on their spelling test.  We then finished all the other subjects and had the afternoon to do *stuff*.

I’m not sure what they did, but I did a lot of paperwork.  So, their school work is all squared away right now.  Tomorrow I will work on Tyler’s stuff.

And, the reason all this stuff is so important to be done?

Well, we won’t be having school next week.  And I would just LOVE it if when we start school back if everything was kind of, you know, “ready”.

“Reading to go” NOT “ready and waiting“.  (It’s a subtle difference, but “ready to go” means you are all caught up and ready to jump in anew.  “Ready and waiting”. . .that’s a huge pile of procrastination that’s been the bane of your existence forever.)

Oh, I also performed surgery on “Bunny”, Mikhail’s bedtime stuffed animal.  So, I am currently on the “great Mom” list of this hour.

Subject * Notes
