Remember! If you would like to tweak the schedule to suit your family, there is a blank schedule you can copy and paste to found on the Scheds. page.

Apologia Science:  Note:  These books also have lapbooks and such activities that you can use.  However, they are not (currently) in these schedules.  If I do wind up using any of these products, I can assure you the schedule will be changed and updated here.

  1. Thanks for sharing these. You’ve saved me a lot of time this summer!

  2. Donna says:

Wow. I was bemoaning the lack of a list for the Vocab in Apologia Chemistry when I came upon your response on the WTM site. You just saved me a tremendous amount of time. Your schedule looks very similar to what I was planning to put together. As you said – a few tweaks and we will be set to go. Thank you for saving me the hours!

We are working on Ancient History this year but I am saving your Am. History list for later. Thanks.

  3. Wanda says:

Your schedules are wonderful…I am so grateful for your willingness to share.

I do have a question though…on your R&S English schedules, you list “QUIZ” every so often. Are these quizzes you are creating? I don’t see quizzes in our books.

Many thanks for all your hard work!

  4. corefoundations says:

    Wanda,

If you have the TM for each level, there is a quiz for the lessons marked in the TM (kind of written down in the teacher notes). Sadly, it doesn’t show up in the student books. . .Hope that makes sense.

  5. Wendy says:

You are my hero! Thank you so much for sharing.

  6. Darlene in NH says:

Can’t wait to see your Zoology2 schedule! I used the Zoo1 schedule from a yahoo group and can’t find a Zoo 2! Let me know when you post it PLEASE!!!

  7. Kathy says:

We’re starting Exploring Creation with Astronomy, so of course I hopped over here to see if you had a schedule. Yes! Thank you, again! (I used your botany schedule last year.:-)

  8. Tani says:

I LOVE your schedules. I just printed the Prentice Hall Earth science to use. The only question I have is: What doe the computer symbol stand for?
I am amazed at your schedules. Please know that you have greatly blessed our homeschooling experience in showing me how to use more structure. Thank you, Thank you! :o))))

  9. Brindee says:

Thankyou so much for sharing your schedules! All I need at this time is the Apologia Chemistry, and here you have it…..You are such a life-saver!

  10. Michelle Keyes says:

I downloaded the Apologia General Science schedule and tweeked it to the 2nd edition. I couldnt find a place to email it to you so wondered if you were interested in it, where I could send it. Every day required a page change and there were an experiment here and there that was added or subtracted. I will also be doing this to the Physical Science over the summer for my boys, since I have the 2nd ed of that and the schedule you have is the 1st. I am using your schedule format to make a schedule for the AiG Gods Design for Life series for my younger boys. We love the format and it makes things easier for me, too. Email me if you would like me to send the General Science 2nd ed. Blessings. Michelle

  11. Tara says:

I unearthed the thread at TWTM with this link while looking for schedules for General Science. Thank you so much! This is great! I had found a schedule previously, for a 5 day week. But I decided to keep looking, as we like our 4 day weeks around here. I was ecstatic to see your 4 day plan. You saved me the trouble of tweaking the other plan. Woohoo!

  12. Lisa says:

Thanks so much for the science schedule! I love it!

  13. Emily says:

I was using the TT Algebra II schedule, but I didn’t save it. When I came back today to try to use it to finish my planning, it says the file is corrupt. I was able to partially recover it by saving to my computer and running a recovery program on it…however, it could only save the text part…not all of the boxes, etc.

I don’t know what you could do from your end to fix it, but I just thought you’d want to know.

    • corefoundations says:

Emily, have contacted you via email — this file is not presenting a problem for me. If it is for anyone else, please let me know.

  14. Dawn says:

THANK YOU SO MUCH, MICHELLE AND CHRISTINE!!!!!! Just what I needed, Michelle for the GS list. You did my work for me!!!

  15. lamama09 says:

Thanks so much for the General Science schedule. We have modified one from Donna Young, but decided to add the L&L lapbook this year to the program. This was perfect!
I am so looking forward to your Zoology 1. We are starting that this week, and also using the L&L lapbook for that.

  16. Connie M. says:

Thank you soooo much for sharing your schedules! I was giddy with excitement when I found all this work for Apologia’s texts on one site…and so nicely put together! I need Swimming Creatures-Zoology 2. When will you be putting that one out? Thanks again!!

  17. JoAnn says:

Thank you so much for all the work you put into the Apologia science schedules. They are exactly what I needed and I’m looking for. I can’t believe the work you put into this, thank you so much. 🙂

    JoAnn

  18. Cyndie says:

What grade would you say is appropriate for the Apologia Astronomy? I have a high schooler who definitely won’t be doing Physics and we were told we could substitute Astronomy to receive her science credit, would Apologia be an appropriate level for a high schooler in your opinion?

  19. HS Vet says:

    Great schedules–thanks!!!

  20. Connie M says:

Your Algebra 1 schedule was such a huge time-saver! I can go play a game with the kids. 🙂 Thank you so much!!!!

  21. Katherine D says:

Wow, Thanks so much for sharing your lesson plans/schedule. This is so awesome, that you’re willing to share all this information. BTW: great schedule!

  22. Tana says:

My son is using the Apologia General Science schedule and it is working perfectly. It helps him be completely independent but I can check his progress daily by seeing what he has checked off. We are also using it with the Knowledge Box Central lapbook/journal set and it works perfectly. We use the lapbooking pieces for reviewing the study guide questions and the journaling pages are just the OYO questions which he fills out and puts in his notebook. Anyway, just wanted to share that and say a big thank you for this schedule, it has been a blessing to us!

  23. Sheri says:

God Bless you woman!!!! 🙂 I needed a 4day schedule for General Science for the first edition! Thanks soooo much!!

  24. Crissi says:

I wanted to thank you SO MUCH for the Apologia General Science plans. I also wanted to offer my changes for you if you’d like to have them. We run on a 4 day week and then on the 5th day we do our experiments. I’ve gone through and changed the format to work with what we are doing. I’d be more than willing to share if you are interested. They are almost done.

    Thanks so much! Blessings!

  25. Thank you so much for making great curriculum even easier to use!

  26. ywammtp says:

Thank you so much for sharing these. These will help me in homeschooling my four daughters and allow me to have more time for our mission work in the Philippines!

  27. Jonatha says:

Thank you SO much! I just purchased General Science and was struggling with lesson plans 🙂 You blessed me immensely!

  28. A friend sent me a referral for your site. i have an Apple computer and it will not allow me to see the Apologia, Biology Edition 2 schedule. Can you send to me as a PDF? Many thanks.

  29. carole says:

THANK YOU for the GS 2nd edition schedules!! I found your info on WTM forum and what a BLESSING!!!!!! I’m flabbergasted that all this info is free, so thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!

  30. carole says:

I should have known to come here first when looking for a Botany schedule that was free 🙂 I was just here a few days ago for Biology and now you have helped me tremendously AGAIN 🙂 thank you!!!!!

  31. Carrie says:

I am new to your site and am having trouble opening any schedules. Can you help me? I see them all listed, but no where to ‘click’ on them to open them. Sorry not very computer savy. Thank you!

    • corefoundations says:

You should be able to simply click on the name of the schedule, and it should open in a seperate window.

      • Carrie says:

It doesn’t:( When I move the mouse over them, nothing changes like you would expect. I’ve tried clicking on them or near them and still nothing. Some other links work such as in your reply dated March 15, 2009 to Tani on this page. But none of your schedules work. Any other suggestions or ways I could get them? Thanks for your help!

        Carrie

  32. Carrie says:

I would like General Scince 2nd edition and Saxon 8/7.

Thank you for your help! (I just don’t get why the links wouldn’t work for me.)

    • corefoundations says:

No problem! I can’t figure why it works some times and doesn’t work others. . .

      Just sent them to you.

  33. Gina says:

Do you happen to have a schedule for Answers in Genesis, The world of animals?

    • corefoundations says:

I only have the schedules for Answers in Genesis that I’ve been given, so if it’s not up, I don’t have it. Sorry

  34. Hi there, I am also having trouble opening up the schedule for General Science 2nd Edition. I am so excited to find this schedule!! I would be very grateful if you could help me!!

  35. Sarah says:

I am looking at the Zoology2 and it is showing the same page for every page of the document? hmmm

  36. Zaral says:

I’m having the same problem with the links, none of them are opening. I would like to have Saxon Math 1 and Astronomy. I will really appreciate your help! Thanks

  37. Tracy says:

Thank you so much! Your science schedules are my favorite. I’ve looked at several and they don’t compare.

  38. Melissa says:

Thank you for the Physical Science schedule!! I found the link to your blog on Well Trained Mind.

  39. Farrah says:

Hi, just wondering if you were going to making anymore Answers in Genesis Science schedules? These are great! Thanks so much!

    • corefoundations says:

I do not use AIG science; therefore, none of the schedules that I have here were created by me. A couple of people have been kind enough to send me schedules they created, and I post them as I receive them.

  40. Kristen says:

Thank you so much for your General Science and Biology schedules! They are just what I was looking for. The schedule from Donna Young drove my son crazy with reading through the experiment and beyond before completing the experiment.

  41. Thank you for sharing these!! 🙂

  42. Carolyn says:

Thank you for sharing these. The Apologia Chemistry schedule was just what I needed.

  43. Tracie says:

    Christine,

Thank you so much for posting these schedules!!! I have used them more than once over the past several years and they are such a blessing.

Is there any chance you could email me the Apologia Zoology 2 (Swimming Creatures) schedule if you have a “corrected” one? The one I downloaded and am able to open shows the same content for every week.

    Thanks so much.

  44. Thank you so much for your helpful schedules!!

  45. Marlene says:

Thank you so much. I like these schedules so much better than the ones I make up each year. They are are not just schedules. They have so much more than just what to do when. I love them. Thank you so much!

  46. Karen says:

I came online to find some encouragement. We are new to Apologia General Science and are having a hard time getting the hang of it. I found a schedule for the 1st edition and felt overwhelmed thinking about tweaking it for the 2nd edition (I am feeling overwhelmed about a lot right now). Then, I found this. You have given me so much hope that we can do this… to see it all broken out and just know what all is ahead in bite-sized pieces is so encouraging. THANK YOU so very very much.

  47. couponteach says:

I just found this website and love love love the schedules!! I have a question though on GS Week 21 in Module 11. You mention a worksheet 11.2 that ties in with figure 11.2 on pg 272 (pg. 270 in 2nd ed.). Could you tell me where to find this worksheet?

  48. Jean says:

I love these schedules. However when I open Swimming Creatures it is the same page over and over. Could you send me the correct schedule? Thank you so much.

  49. Tracey says:

We started using your Biology Schedule and it is helpful, but I noticed that you add in the SG ( Study Guide ) about half way in the module on what they had covered so far, and then I don’t see the rest of the SG scheduled ? Also you do not schedule the Modules summarizations in the schedule is there a reason why you didn’t use these? I was just wondering 🙂

    • corefoundations says:

That’s due to “lazy” shorthand. My kids had to finish the study guides before taking the tests; generally, the Thurs. prior to the test on Fri. I had only put the first part of the module’s study guide in the schedule, because I noticed my kids were trying to do it all in one day, and I wanted them to break it out into more feasible chunks.
I don’t recall the reason I left the module summations out of the schedule. . .

  50. i am unable to click on any of these schedules and print them
    joanne

  51. Rhonda says:

I, also was unable to click on any of the links. Could you please send me the teaching textbooks pre-algebra?
    Thank you so much.

  52. Carol says:

I just want to add to the thanks…. the Apologia Chemistry schedule and Teaching Textbooks Alg. II are going to be so incredibly useful to me next year. Really, thank you!!!

  53. I’m almost in tears of joy over finding these schedules. I have been asking Sonlight for years to make schedules that could be edited and you have produced exactly what I’ve been imagining! I was able to take the Apologia Chemistry schedule, print out one week per page for my Instructor’s Guide and then edit it down to the very minimum to use as my science log for my portfolio. Now all I’ll have to do is date when we complete those assignments. I am so very thankful to those who have put the time and effort into inputting all the information into these schedules and then to provide them for free! May you have heaps of blessings poured out on you!

  54. Jennifer Gerritsen says:

School starts in 3 weeks for me, and I have barely gotten started! I will be sure to point everyone in your direction. I, too, was in shock and called my husband saying “I found schedules!!!!” 🙂
No doubt, you have saved many of hours for many of us! Thanks everyone soooo much! I’ll print out as many as I can incase I ever need them! God Bless! 🙂

  55. Andrea says:

Wow!! Thank you for posting these schedules! I am using Saxon 76 and Algebra 2 for Math and Apologia Zoology 2 and Biology for Science. These will be a huge time saver!! Is there an updated Zoology 2 schedule?? Your time and effort is greatly appreciated!!

  56. Jasmine says:

I noticed the Teaching Textbooks Algebra 2 2.0 schedule had some mistakes, so I corrected them. I will email it to you.

  57. Stephanie says:

Thank you so much for the lesson plans for the Apologia Sciences. This saved me so much time and effort. Wonderful!

  58. LauraFad says:

I know that people have said it before, but “Thank You” for being so generous with your schedules. You are such a blessing to me and my family!!! You have shaved off a tremendous burden by doing these schedules for me!

  59. Kelly says:

Thanks a million for the Zoology schedule! It’s perfect!!

  60. carol says:

Please help, I am unable to bring up Apologia Biology. Thank you so much, I have put this off far too long. Thanks for this resource you were recommended by a customer service rep at Apologia. Carol

  61. Rebecca says:

Thank you for your schedules! Going through sciences again and appreciate the format. Thanks for sharing!

  62. Do you all have the Biology 2nd ed with full course cd schedule? Tips on how to take your schedule and make this work? Thanks

    • corefoundations says:

Sorry no, nothing with the CD in the schedule. Having not seen the CD, I would not be able to readily give tips on how to make it work with the schedule, but I would *assume* it follows the same general outline.

      • Ania says:

    Thanks!
New to homeschooling and this would be such a lifesaver!

  67. Kari says:

Thank you so much for sharing!
One question – on Saxon 5/4 what do the numbers directly following the lesson number mean? Example – 1-3, 4-6 – they are in italics. Maybe its just too late and I’m overlooking it – Thanks again!

    • corefoundations says:

Page numbers. They were the page numbers for the lesson. (We lived in a location where simple lesson numbers were not good enough. . .)

Thank you so much for sharing these! I am using the General Science schedule – was so overwhelmed looking throughthe book, but the schedule made the muddle clear. THANK YOU.

Thank you so much for your Apologia chemistry schedule! It will definitely be a blessing to me this year!

  72. In you schedule for Exploring Creation with Astronomy you list this link: http://www.iau.org/fileadmin/content/pdfs/Resolution_GA26-5-6.pdf – However, it is a dead link now. The part of the file you referenced can be found with a google search that leads to this link: http://legacy.jefferson.kctcs.edu/observatory/NLPDFs/OCONov2006.pdf

You might want to update it 🙂

  73. My husband was calling for me to help him and I hit post quickly. Rereading it now it could sound pushy (maybe) it is not meant to sound that way. Your schedule has been so very helpful as a launching pad for me to make it work for my daughter. Thanks you so much for sharing it and in a form that lets the user alter it. You kindness in doing so has been a blessing to us. Thanks again 🙂

  74. Cheri Burt says:

Thank you so much for sharing these schedules. I was able to print off the Apologia Chemistry and give it to my Junior. She can easily follow the schedule without mom telling her to do what and when. She loves that!

  75. kimberlymoca says:

The Zoology 2 file is no longer working. Thanks for all you do. I really appreciate all of the resources. 🙂

  76. Joyce says:

Thank you for sharing. My son will soon be starting HS physics and having a schedule would help a lot!

  77. We’ve been struggling to find a math to work for us, and some friends recommended Saxon. Thank you SO much for mapping out the schedule for 54. I am wondering what the fun fact tests are. I only have the textbook and the home study packet. Are these tests something that came with a test packet? Thank you again!

  78. I just finished editing the Exploring Creation with Chemistry schedule to work for the 3rd Edition. I would be happy to send you the file if you are interested.

  79. Laura says:

What a blessing to find this today when I was searching for a schedule for Apoloiga Chemistry. Thanks for all your work!

  80. Connie M says:

Once again I come to you, and you are like an invisible homeschool comfort! It’s the Friday before we begin school, and I’m planning Saxon Calculus 2nd Ed. I was freaking out when I saw that this Calculus course is three semesters! I’ve got to fit it into 180 days! Thanks to you, I’ll be making pear jam tomorrow instead of being up to my eyeballs in Calculus!!! You must be my schedule planner soul mate from heaven! Blessings to you my friend!

Thank you soooooo much. Looking forward to Zoology 1 and 3!

WOW! You can’t even imagine how much this helped me for High School Bio and Chem! You’re a blessing.

  84. Terri says:

Oh my goodness! I don’t know how I missed this with my first two kids, but I am grateful I found you with my last two. I think you just bought back at least one night of sleep where now I don’t have to write my own. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! And the price of “free”? What a blessing!

  85. There are just so many comments, I couldn’t read them all to see if this issue was resolved. I am using the FIRST EDITION of PHYSICAL SCIENCE (Apologia), and as I am tweeking the schedule for our family, I noticed that there is no “Day 91 – Day 95.” Am I missing something?

    • corefoundations says:

You are more observant than most! When I was done making the schedule, I realized I had skipped an entire week (like had skipped over it). So, I just deleted that week. You aren’t missing anything.

  86. casswan says:

Thank you SO much for posting these lesson plans! I was really struggling to figure out the best way to schedule Exploring Creation with Physical Science for my son. These lesson plans are an answer to my prayers. What a blessing!

  87. Alisha says:

I am using your schedule for TT Algebra I and updating it for 3.0. Is there a way to send it to you in case others might want to use it?
